Introduction Welcome to Jackpot Events, a trading name of Jackpot Trading Limited (“we”, “our”, or “us”). We are a professionally managed limited company specialising in the delivery of high-quality event services. Our offerings include but are not limited to DJs, audio-visual hire & sales, cold spark machines, selfie pods/photo booths, and much more. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jackpot Events. By engaging with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in their entirety.
1. Payment Term of Services.
1.1. Direct Bookings Individuals or businesses who engage directly with Jackpot Events for the provision of services.
1.2. Agent/Agency Bookings: Services procured through third-party agents or agencies authorised to act on behalf of clients.
1.3. Revision Of Pricing & Services Jackpot Events reserves the right to revise the scope, pricing, or availability of its services at any time. Clients will be informed of any changes via electronic or written communication prior to their effective date.
2. Payment Terms
2.1. Booking Confirmation for anything except agent/agency work: A booking is only deemed confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and a non-refundable deposit, the amount of which shall range from a minimum of £40 to a maximum of 30% of the total quoted fee. Failure to remit the deposit within the specified timeframe may result in cancellation of the provisional booking.
2.2. Payment Deadlines for all: The remaining balance of the fee must be received no later than 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled event date.
2.3. Credit Facilities: Jackpot Trading Limited do not offer any credit facilities nor is this implied.
2.4. Late Payment Penalties: Payments not received by the due date shall incur a £75 administrative fee as well as a compounding late payment charge of 5% of the outstanding balance for every 7 days beyond the due date until full payment is received.
2.5. Accepted Payment Methods: Payment must be remitted via bank transfer, credit card, or any other method specified by Jackpot Events.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1. Client-Initiated Cancellations:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event: The event will be cancelled with no charge for private bookings and or agent/agency bookings.
- Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days prior to the event: The client will be liable for 50% of the total booking fee.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to the event: The client will be liable for the full booking fee.
3.2. Cancellation by Jackpot Events: Should Jackpot Events need to cancel a booking, a full refund of any payments made will be issued. However, we disclaim liability for any consequential or indirect losses incurred by the client as a result of such cancellation.
3.3. Force Majeure: Neither party shall bear liability for cancellations or failure to perform contractual obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, natural disasters, or government-imposed restrictions.
4. Agent and Agency Bookings
4.1. Agency Obligations: Agents or agencies booking on behalf of clients must ensure accurate and complete communication of client requirements. The agent or agency accepts full responsibility for payment and adherence to these Terms.
4.2. Commission: Agents may be entitled to commission payments subject to a formal agreement with Jackpot Events, we agree to a commission paid below but not greater than 12.0% (industry standard). All commission arrangements shall be detailed in writing.
4.3. Client Contact: While agencies function as intermediaries, Jackpot Events retains the right to directly contact end clients when deemed necessary to ensure clarity or compliance.
5. Liability and Indemnification
5.1. Limitations of Liability: Jackpot Events shall not be held liable for any loss or damage exceeding the total value of the agreed contract. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, and consequential losses.
5.2. Indemnification: Clients and agents agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jackpot Events, its employees, and subcontractors against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their breach of these Terms or from their negligence or misconduct.
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1. Negotiation and Mediation: Parties agree to engage in good-faith negotiation to resolve disputes. If resolution is not achieved, the matter shall be submitted to mediation before pursuing legal recourse.
6.2. Jurisdiction: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located therein.
7. About Jackpot Events
7.1. Jackpot Events operates as a trading name of Jackpot Trading Limited, a duly registered limited company in Great Britain under registration number 13634382.
7.2. As a professional entity, we distinguish ourselves from informal or amateur event service. All services are delivered in accordance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Miscellaneous Provisions
8.1. Confidentiality: All client and event information is treated as strictly confidential. No details will be disclosed to third parties without the client’s prior written consent, except as required by law.
8.2. Intellectual Property Rights: All designs, concepts, and materials developed by Jackpot Events remain the exclusive intellectual property of the company unless explicitly transferred in writing.
8.3. Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior communications or agreements, whether oral or written.
8.4. Amendments: We redeem the right to amend these terms at any given point without any form of prior written warning.
